So after watching CNN and Fox each for 15 minutes I noticed many differences, but also many similarities.
CNN:
CNN's color is primarily red. They have a focus on world issues, such as wars. They also focused more on individuals. They were more casual in discussing world issues. The hosts seemed to get along well and were friendly.
Fox:
They tend to focus their stories more on the US and its government and economy. Its color is blue, and features American flags and other symbols in the background. They frequently criticize Obama and took aggressive stands. They defended their own opinions rather than discussing issues and did so in unfriendly tones.
Both:
Both featured guests who were experts in their field. Both had headlines scrolling at the bottom. Both stations had comercials every few miniutes
